Update on blocked waste/sewage

i had my breakfast this morning (don't know if that was a wise move) put on my rubber gauntlets which I had when cleaning a drain. and went and fully opened the cover.
As you can see it is only a shallow one.
I breathed a sigh of relief, saw the exit pipe clear and went to work with my hosepipe,
I broke it up t*rd by t*rd and felt quite happy.

Thanks for any advice offered humorous or otherwise.
