After getting a better quote for my Van renewal the agents sends me this. "Please can you send to me within the next 14 days the following:" (X) a Share My Licence code - you can get this code from : https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number (X) a copy of the front and back of the licence photo card. Any one else seen this? Surely My License is private, only show to cops if need to??? If at a later time I made a claim then yes I would expect to show someone. What you think?
You could tell them you have no points on your licence etc (when you actually did have points) Insurance would be void.
Just done mine, i wasn't asked, I thought this was for hiring cars aboard though having said that, I haven't been asked aboard either.
