Hi all - I am sad to report that my Dad aka 'Wally' passed away yesterday. From reading some of his posts on here, I can see that he mentioned his illness on here to some of you and I know that he appreciated all of your support during his illness. It has all happened very quickly and we are all a bit shocked and numb right now. He was only diagnosed in May. The last 5-6 weeks have been very difficult and sadly he was unable to fight no more. Hi Linda, so sorry to hear the news, he will be greatly missed on the forum, he and I often had a chat here, I am surprised he's gone so suddenly. He was talking here quite recently about going for his treatment and sounded quite positive about it. Condolences to you and the rest of the family.

So sorry to hear that Wally has died Linda, he was one of the respected members on the forum. Rest In Peace Wally, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Wally was a very valued member of the Screwfix Community, with over two and half thousand posts over the last eight years. He helped many people on our Forum and as you can see from the posts by fellow members he will be missed by many here. Sincere condolences Peter
