    Hello,

I am currently looking to set up a washing line connected from the side of my garage to the side of my house. I have looked into it a bit and i think these might work - http://www.screwfix.com/c/screws-na...managedredirect-_-screwsfixings-_-throughbolt

    and

    https://www.steelgear.co.uk/product/eyenuts/stainless-steel-eyenut/size-m10

now my question is if i were to use thread-lock would it stop the eye nut from rotating? or would i have to get a bit more drastic and use resin or a PTFE tape? Also if you could tell me, are the items i have linked worth using or is there a simpler way around this.

    Kind Regards

    Garage pre-fab or solid block.

If pre fab,I have use simple fencing straining bolts with a double nut, they are around 150mm in length so easy to go completely through 100mm block wall.
Will need large flat washers either side, I used large flat washer & then a square plate washer either side of wall.

    Can buy above singlely.

House end just use Masonry Anchor Eye M6.
