I've just had a garage converted into a utility room and water feeds have been run for the washing machine and fridge water supply. The pipes have been terminated with these What do I need to connect my washing machine and fridge (both appear to be same size thread) to these? Do I need to run a short piece of pope from these then attach the appliance valves or is there anything I can screw onto the thread of these? Thanks in advance Russ
They are isolating valves, just use a short piece of copper pipe to connect WM valves, surprised pipes haven't been set closer to wall & been clipped. Always prefer to fit WM valve with a check valve, prevents reverse flow of cold water. http://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-m...-x/27660#product_additional_details_container But, you can get them without. http://www.screwfix.com/p/washing-machine-valve-without-check-valve-15mm-x/51231
Two pipes . Both cold or hot and cold. You will need two valves connected to the cold one only, assuming your machine ,like most is cold fill!.
I take it to be two cold feeds, as he mention fridge & washing machine cold water feeds, most WM's today are cold feed only.
