Can anyone tell me the name of these screws used to fit a kitchen cabinet? I need to buy 2 replacement ones. Thanks, Debbie
To be more accurate they are from the cruciform of a concealed hinge, I've probably got some spares in the garage if you're anywhere near Hitchin.
What brand of hinge is it? Or what brand of kitchen? Photo of the complete hinge would be good. On some cheap hinges the cross heads break really easily when adjusting.
As above, unlikely to be able to just buy replacement screws, will be easier to replace the hinges Different brands will use a different type adjusting screw anyway so not necessarily interchangeable Just replace with same hinge type, ie size / angle / soft close / Screwfix sell them, usually in pairs and cheap http://www.screwfix.com/p/soft-close-clip-on-concealed-hinges-110-35mm-pack-of-2/10071 http://www.screwfix.com/p/sprung-concealed-screw-on-hinges-110-35mm-pack-of-2/28303
Thanks. I didn't realise the screws were so specific to the manufacturer (FGV Italy in this case).I was just trying to save myself the money the time and recycling waste of buying a whole new hinge, but it sounds like buying a new hinge will be the best solution s
