What's the difference between a Sheet Metal Worker, a Metal Fabricator, and a Machinist?

    This has to be a wind-up !:D Sheet metal workers are tin bashers,metal fabricators are welders that can drill & bolt RSJs & machinists are blokes that operate a mill or a lathe. Someone's taking the p**s ! :D:D:D

    I would look at doing and vocational engineering course, that's what I did when I left school. A foundation program, which will introduce all subjects.

    I would look at getting an apprenticeship.

    The first one is the least skilled, followed by the second one.
    The "machinist" will be the highest paid and most skilled.

    You should become an electrician. Tin bashers can't handle the liquor....
