    Hello forum,
I want to fit white internal doors but not sure what's best 1) White primed (MDF) or 2) Oak Veneer ?
I would paint white Satinwood myself.
Some say that as long I paint white, I should go for white primed MDF. On the other hand I saw a Todd door in shop which is oak veneer painted and look great because of the "real" veneer effect. A moulded white veneered or white primed (no veneer effect) door looks proper cheap...

    Any advice?

    Many thanks

It's up to you, would you go on a forum to ask if I should drink tea or coffee.
Ask your partner and do what they want.

Never liked MDF, moulded or veneered doors - have a look at some pine doors, fill, sand and treat with knotting and then paint. At the moment Wickes are doing some offers on solid pine doors. A bit more effort but worth it compared to the finish you get.
