(I'm not an electrician or plumber sorry) Am wondering if anyone can help!

After 'teaching' the transmitter to pickup the thermostat signal in teach mode (15 seconds hold button and press thermostat 'teach' button), the green light comes on the HC60NG momentarily. This then starts the boiler, then immediately the boiler turns off.

The thermostat HNC80 has new batteries, and signal lights appear correct as per instruction manual, but no matter how many times we 'teach' the two to connect, the boiler will not fire up for more than the first flicker. Even when the thermostat is switched to high 30degrees. The signal light flashes, but the receiver does not maintain the boiler.

Other notes: Boiler fires when hot water tap or shower is running, so no problems with getting hot water, just can't get central heating to come on!

Can anyone help? It is really cold !!
