Finishing a wooden floor ???

    Hello painters I would like some help on what sequence and paints to finish a wooden floor
    I currently have floor boards stained brown with a bit of wear in places I'm gonna stay with the dark brown re do it but would like it hi gloss finished so was hoping you can help do I need to put clear coat on top to give the shine or does it get buffed?.. Also which brand of stain/paints.

    Any help would be great

    Check out Sadolin PV67 heavy duty varnish, used it on a couple of jobs a while ago, superb high gloss finish, just follow instructions. You will not be disappointed. Not cheap but quality never is. ;)
