Three questions for owners of this strimmer: Has anyone found a supplier of spare batteries for this? I have a lot of stop/starting in my gardens, will I be wasting lots of line if it feeds new line out every time I press the start button? Does the head tilt for trimming edges?
1) Nope. But I haven't even looked... At least they are Li-Ion batteries, so should last well. 2) Stop-start wasting line? Yes, it will. Will this be a problem? That's up to you. 3) Almost certainly, yes. It mentions lots of adjustment for lawn edging and trimming. Reviews are incredibly good. Many mentions of adjustment too. Obviously only for grass, but looks good. (Pssst - even cheaper on a well known auction site... )
Haven't got a clue, does your user name refer to a village in Norfolk, if so, I used to go on holiday there every year as a kid.
I bought one and I'm very pleased with it. Although the instruction booklet mentions that too much stop/starting will waste line, it only feeds out 8mm at a time, so it's not worth worrying about.
