To keep your room stat too, put it in series with the Timer 4 and Boiler 4

It's exactly as you have laid the back plate out. NL1234. That's what I have posted.

That is it ? We don't use NL on boiler and number 1 on timer?

How about number 3 from room stat?

123 would not be used on the timer.

Follow the diagrams and try to understand why. You're just guessing otherwise. The timer has a hot water time control which is undesirable. It won't be used. You should keep the stat by wiring it in series as above. It will be fed from timer, not from boiler.

If I was on a computer I would draw it. I'm on a pad.

You have been great help so far. I will try to understand what you put so far and then I would do the connections

It has time control and terminals for just heating, not hot water. You have a combi boiler, so no need to control hot water times.

I guess we need hot water all the time so I wouldn't mind hot water all the time.

Thats a strange diagram, they want you to pinch a feed from the L&N terminals for the time clock electrics but take a permanent live feed from 3 for the switch contact in the timer and then take the neutral for the thermostat to 5.

Why not just show everything connected to 34&5.

You think I should keep the 3 in the same place as before and 4 with timer?

To be honest this is what I wanted first place and I got myself in this mess. This link product you put above ,is it replacing the room stat button? I might give this c27 back and get the one in the link. Is it easy to install?
