Have you poured the concrete in the holes yet?

Phil - i bought that from Brown Brothers (they used to sell automotive paints and body panels but think they have ceased trading now) years ago and still going strong :) Yeah rusty so need to keep an eye on those.

    Concrete all in now

Is that a shed base or a missile launching platform?:eek::eek:

    That's probably my fault

Nice neat job with evenly spaced fixings, will you be putting in steps?

Cracking work, what are you using for the floor?

Thanks for all the posts chaps. 2 of the posts were knackered and the mixer has to go back tomorrow so (rightly or wrongly!) i decided to infill and will make those 2 in the picture up with courses of bricks which will have the benefit of supporting both spans.

Jit - i am going to put some steps in (suggestions welcome ;))
Longboat - 25mm exterior ply which i was going to SBR the underside prior to screwing down
Chips - original plan was a shed, but changed to rocket launcher now mate :p:D

    Nearly.

The rear noggins are right of the front on 2 and left on the other.

Still a very substantial base though, lets hope the shed as good.☺

    Stairs

You could use 600x300mm concrete slabs as the steps, built on brickwork or concrete formed base.

Or maybe 900mm wide? may be better for extra width.

I did it this way as they were a tighter, squarer fit. One thing that i find hard working with timber is the way it can bananarise overnight!

Thanks, i think i will go for 900mm possibly and double doors

  20. Fats is turning shed-building into an art-form :D

Man, I can't believe you are going to hide all that lovely work up by putting a shed on it...

The 'missing' posts along the two sides - are you going to add supports there instead, 'cos these side bearers look like they are currently only being supported by 3 bolts into their ends?
