Back in the early 70s Dutch Progressive Rock got really big in the UK it happened for FOCUS and Golden Earing (who's songs are still played today). For some reason Earth And Fire didn't make it in the UK (they should have)!
Keane - the only band who wet more beds than Coldplay C'mon, Jit - throw us summat less subtle. What's going' on, man. Woman.
Och, ye cannae beat British Prog Reliving the early 'Yes' albums on my new HiFi (nothing stupidly awesome, chust a decent 'compact') and, man, when they're good they're reallllllyyyy goooood... hmmmmmmm.
Fair enough devs and no complaints from me over that statement. What I'm posting is something old from the classic rock era that to a lot of us will be something new because the UK audience will have missed out on ever hearing it.
Tis magic. On YouTube when you choose a vid click on it and you'll see this page, press the the arrow in the red area. Then you'll see this page, press the item in the red area. then on here just upload it using chain link button above on the reply page, 3rd box in from the Left.
Don't get me wrong, both Focus and Golden are very good bands. Och, I remember 'Radar Love' on TofP - it blew everything else away.
Something old yet most likely also something new. Again a big continental hit that missed out in the UK.
Fair enough Phil and it is definitely a song of it's day. I know nothing about the guy but the song does have a comedy feel to it so perhaps it was not meant to be taken seriously and the line about catching the clap would have certainly got Mary Whitehouse banning this evil filthy tune ! All back in the day of course.
