Looks well made, but if you already have a router, then you could just get a lock jig...

Seen them, quite clever, but need to set up so time consuming, ordinary lock jig quicker.:)

    Do you have a router?

Jig and router all day for me. Minimal setup time and a clean result every time.
I tend to use a trimming router freehand and finish with a chisel for hinges.

Tore, yes I have a Souber and I think it's brilliant. Got it for £90 on Ebay and it's saved me so much time putting new locks in, especially in rentals. Just got to keep your eye on the cutting bits when you hit a piece of metal. Need a good corded drill with a bit of grunt to power it.

Yes vivaro it's got great reviews on Amazon etc, but I thought what people think on here.

I like the fact the door can still be hanging. Often get digi locks to fit and if you drill slightly off can be a ball ache.

I'm tempted as it looks easy as the door can still be hanging.

Is set up quick as it looks it on you tube?

Yes I do the same for hinges but for putting on locks I don't half a 1/2 router and have to remove the door.

    Fair point.

It does look a good product though, defiantly well designed. It looks like it will put a lot of pressure on the drill though, so unless you have a high-torque battery drill a mains drill would be preferable.

Got a couple of key pads to fit.

I have used flat drill bits in the past, bit brutal.

Any bits anyone can reccomed from the host.

Be very careful with the spiral woodbits as they can pull themselves into the wood very, very quick
