Most dangerous tool

    True.
    Sometimes you have to use a tool as it was not intended to get something done, sometimes things are out of your control ( a nail deflecting off a knot and shooting through your thumb for e.g.)
    You can only be as careful as you can be

    My bench circular saw bit my thumb and a finger.....ouch!

    Fair point. Still some tools I'll never even consider using for anything other than it's intended purpose. Angle grinder is a perfect example.

    Strictly sticky back plastic, washing up bottles (empty) and elastic bands

    Mine so far has been a pair of work boots with slippy soles in combination with a damp path and a kerb.

    Twist knot wire brush on the mini grinder always good for a giggle!!

    starting a grinder while the blade is on your thumb is down to rushing and not paying attention.

    Agree with some on here(except the mockers of course-get a life) that the most dangerous tool is the idiot using it(mention no names). chippie

    Sliced my finger on a wallpaper stripper in my pocket near to the bone good job it was a wood floor and not carpet.
