That is a very common tecnique in theatre as we always have loads of backflap hinges around but it was much more specific than that.

Funnily enough, you should have tried some screws with a different countersink!!

Where it mattered I got some screws with a single countersink and strangely they fitted the holes cut with my countersink beacause they are both the same angle. :)

It is sounding very much like an admission and an apology.

    Surely not?

Your already thin grasp on reality is slipping further if that is what you think. Are you chemically linked to Donald Trump?

I think you're too pompous to even realise that you have admitted your errors.

Do we really have to go through all this again?

You said the double-countersunk screw sat proud. That is what I said to the OP(try a different countersink)

If the OP had the wrong countersink screw, he would have the same result as you have just a few posts ago(by your own admission and your own words)

Your solution(like my suggestion) was to use a screw with the correct countersink.

Can you see it yet, or do you need your nappy changing?

I see your mistake here, the OP didn't say they had a double countersink screw, you suggested they use one.
Try and keep up you muppet.
