tripping RCD

    I wonder if he has put the neutral to the lights to the non rcd side as well or left it?

    this was the kitchen circuit

    he did move a blue wire over

    If it was me I wouldn't of left untill I was satisfied it was sorted

    he's back at 8am. So far he has called at the end of the day so I think/hope he's here for the duration tomorrow

    No point coming over moving a wire and hope for the best he can't know without testing that it fixed

    Zs reading is on the high side but still a pass, I am sure it has to be something really stupid

    so before I attempt to sleep, kitchen MCB on or off?

    I know you said it was difficult to run new circuits but this is why I try my hardest to run my own to avoid any grief

    Earth loop

    allowed 1.10 and this is a tns system so .80 is on the high side so it points to a leaking earth

    R1 R2 is 1.97 which is high also

    yes and he has added sockets to this, I would definately have gone with a new circuit in this instance

    So for a non-electrician what does that point to
