hi, We have fitted the concealed tank to the vanity unit but I cannot find a 90 bend as we only have 30mm to play with. please help!!
Are you talking about the flush pipe from cistern to toilet ? Maybe ? Your post is way to vague for any detailed advice. More info and some photos would help enormously
do you mean there is not enough space to fit an elbow onto the 1/2 inch bsp thread of the inlet valve because the cabinet is too close ? is that your problem ?
Would one of these work better for you. http://www.screwfix.com/p/flexible-tap-connector-with-valve-15mm-x-mm-x-300mm/3558g This might be better, angled flexible hose. http://www.diy.com/departments/flex...95905_BQ.prd?dclid=CN3KxcDY69UCFdm1UQod-nYGZg
Are you fitting this yourself and is the cold supply being run in copper of plastic ? Copper 90 degree will come up smaller than push fit type, may fit, just http://www.screwfix.com/p/endex-bent-tap-connector-15mm-x/98412 http://www.screwfix.com/p/flofit-fbc1512-bent-tap-connector-white-15mm-x/43593 Separate iso valve can be fitted wherever there is access for future servicing. Can be tight with these concealed, vanity type units
don't think that will bend to a tight enough radius to fit in that small space kiab. a female elbow would . 1/2 inch bsp female to 15 mm compression. screwfix code 3231G. PTFE tape will be needed to seal between the threads.
They all seem too big to fit the gap. I need a 90 bend that goes straight down instead of having to much of a radius on it. Maybe a bent flexi hose connector if one exist So?
the female elbow takes much less space than other fittings as the thread of valve goes into the female thread around 15 mm .
I thought a had a bent tap connector in my plumbing box and yes I did As you can see from the pic, once it's seated on the threaded tail it is pretty much spot on 30mm Could maybe trim a bit of the threaded tail off to give a few more mm or pack some extra washers on inside of cistern to again shorten tail (assuming room inside for inlet valve)
