Hi.recently had bathroom floor tiled. 'Boss' chose ceramic tiles with matt finish. She now wishes she had chosen gloss/glazed finish. Is there any coating that I can apply to the existing tiles . Cheers in advance.Graham

Tiles in bathrooms usually are gloss, easier to clean, can't think of anything suitable to treat them with, as they are glazed, unlike travertine, slate, etc.

Hi KIAB. Understand but the new tiles are beige with a Matt finish. She was worrying about slipping(although mat is down for showering)but now not easy to clean as not moppable.

Would have thought gloss tiles more slippy in wet.:)

Missed the word 'floor' in your first post, a bathroom/wetroom floor,I would go with a matt tile, & keep the gloss tiles for walls.

Even anti slip floor tiles are all matt finish I think.

Why can they not be "mopped"? My wet room has matt tiles with additional texture in the sloping shower area and all we do is use a window cleaning squeegee on the floor.
