Its been on for about a month or so, Johnstone's kitchen & bathroom emulsion paint, painter long gone I've sorted issues with him so just need to get it off best I can, I've tried a clay bar but it just scratches the bath.
Emulsion paint shouldn't be that hard to remove. Fill bath with hot add a bit of washing powder & leave it for a hour, have found it softens paint, making it easy to remove with a non scrating scaley pad..
It’s the kitchen / bathroom paint though, differant ‘recipe’ to regular emuslion It’s resistant to moisture and has an impervious slight sheen to it. Will need a bit more encouragement I recon than regular emuslion If on bath edges as well, soak towels in soapy water, ring out a bit and fold up, leave to soak on bath edges Try scraping off with say an old credit card after a good soak - good luck
You lot should come see my bath. Mrs steams it then moans bath has got paint welded on. Seems it comes off me when soaking in the bath and welds on. I rub and clean every so often but I keep adding new to it
Go and purchase a tub of Big Wipes, moisten one with water and wipe over paint splashes ......leave for a couple of minutes and repeat again, this will soften the paint ready to wipe off using a fresh Big Wipe with a little ebow grease.
That’s genuinely funny Astra - made me laugh, good shout ! Didn’t find comment funny other day though, dunno, could have been me perhaps, been busy at work and life generally, was a bit grumpy, felt like ‘I had the painters in’
