Hi I am considering getting quotes for an concrete patio for my entire garden (don't need no soil or grass etc) its roughly
    8 metres(26foot) wide by 20 metres (65foot)

How much roughly does it cost for concrete patio of that size (with sand/mot sub base etc) ?

Seems a complete waste to concrete a garden that size

Maybe they want to build a "Park & Ride" :)

Could put a few vehicles on there - but a fraction too small for a tennis court

Very low maintenance is the plan :)

Any idea of rough cost please

I could be wrong but I think you have to put something water permeable down.

Due to the size you would probably need building control and probably planning due to the surface water issues

That's one sure way to trash the eventual resale value of the property!
However much it might suit your (quirky) needs, you will eliminate 99.9% of the potential buyers, because fewer than 0.1% of them would even consider the property with a fully concreted garden.

Not sure if my math's is right so at £50 m2 around 8K and £99 m2 looking at 15K+ for concrete patio ?

I used the b&Q patio calculator and cheapest bradstone patio slabs and it still came to around 2K-2.5K to cover 8metre by 20metre garden, so is concrete just more expensive then patio slabs ?

You have 160M2 to cover, the cost of the slabs is minor part of the overall cost.

Even using the cheapest slabs you could buy it would cost you around 12 grand mark.

Have you factored in the cost of labour to lay the concrete slabs PLUS the hardcore base PLUS the finer substrate on top of the hardcore based on which to lay the slabs?

Plus the digging out and removal of any spoil, this in its self on an area this size would run into thousands.
