Did you watch the programme and see that amazing sixteen year old pianist and the young saxophonist? Fabulous. Then the annual display of eccentric Britishness and colour. To my mind it was one of the best programmes ever.

Nothing is as good as it used to be, not even nostalgia.
I don't like the new pound coins but then I hate change. :):)

Nothing wrong with being proud to be British and European.

Amen. I am. It's called patriotism.

Patriotism usually refers to a country, not a conglomeration of countries. I bet Kim Un whatshisname, doesn’t say he’s proud to be Asian does he ?

Are you even proud to be British, what with it's history of multiculturism, compassion, welcome for immigrants and being a refuge for people fleeing oppression?

Hmmmmmmm initially a good point, but you forget those economic migrants, and those coming here for pure benefits ( including, but not limited to, tax credits falsely claimed, health benefits, housing benefits, council tax benefits, arranged marriages, etc, etc )

BTW, I wonder just how many refugees North Korea has taken in ?

You'll have some stats and facts to back this up?

Once you locate the info you require, do one thing - compare it with indigenous Brits - and then don't do one thing - tarnish a whole people due to a small unrepresentative number.

    Because that is youknowwhat.

(I think we've been here before with JJ... )

Have you ever tried to claim a benefit, it isn't easy even if you're deserving and who is going to run away to N Korea?

(I've just checked - no-one has 'liked' that post of JJ's. That must mean it's REALLY nuts.)

Actually, he's not. He's sitting on the side lines laughing at nutters, and avoiding unsavoury racists and hypocrites. Chin chin.
