    Gents and ladies,
May I share my good will "season" wishes, to the sales etc started (ALREADY) ?
Lets be happy and.... get ourselves decent something! (what do I want?)
(not that I really need any), but thinking of perhaps treating myself to bits and bobs
Is there a tool on your wish-list, you are going to treat yourself to?
    lets hear it! ;)

My 2 series is as old as me 1962 , had it 20 years , need to repair the starter , its been blocking my drive for 4 months.
I've been too busy to fix it and now it's too cold to get any enthusiasm
Anyway I deserve one as a backup
Failing that I shall refuse to believe in Santa anymore

I think/ just had an idea of (got very expensive chisel set already), but will treat myself to Japanese laminated steel (curved back, gets sharpened from both sides) set...?
    Cheaper, than JCB, I hope

I never heard of these chisels so decided to take a look as always happy to find a reason to get more tools. They look very classy and very interesting. Too pricey for me though! Unless they are also ok for chasing out walls, opening tins and standby slot head screwdivers? Oh, and tyre levers to fix bike punctures?
Stick them on your Santa list Alvy.

Yeah, not decided yet for sure, but having good Santa twice a year (Xmass and BDay) helps ;)

Since your Santa isn't that generous, would it approve (original) set of Kirch chisels?

If I was your Santa, I'd perhaps approve either "present", just don't go with smaller one- useless!
On that "suckers" note, Ive build myself dust separator out of old Vax hoover and bits and bobs, so far, in bags alone I've saved £200 easy!
Festool makes one too- but I can not justify their price m8,
anw, have a look at my "adventures" ... being a tight Santa, might give you some ideas

My work partner of 25 years has been diagnosed with the big C, I would love to have him recieve some amazing news from the docs and spend a few more years working with me and looking after his family.

So there. Also would love a nice new Ford Transit Connect LWB with seats
