*UPDATE* Wall removal done... There was another stud wall behind it and flooring down suggesting it was and open space before... Stairs still in tact!!! Thanks for all your help people!
That picture just sent a shiver down my wife. The bloke in the picture could be a twin of me, even down to the wonky ear - although mine is on the left
And mine, she goes limp, mouth open, starts salivating and becomes unable to converse properly, felt a bit guilty about going down the pub once the paramedics told me it was a stroke
Good evening, I have the same question regarding under stair stud wall removal. I will be removing the plasterboard tomorrow so I can expose the gubbins behind it. Would you fine people be able to advise on what I can / must not remove? Cheers! J
Possibly, though you'd be better off posting a new thread in the carpenters forum and put several photos up once you've removed the plasterboard.
Hi again, What can I cut away safely? I'm planning on making an MDF alcove type of structure to open up the space. Many thanks for your help. J
Post more photos from further back and showing the landing area at the top of the stairs. You should be ok to cut all of it away at first glance though.......
