Hi all Would be really grateful if anyone could give me a little guidance on how to put up lining paper around these edges leading into a bay window? I am hanging the lining paper vertically (considering painting). Any advice most welcome please
Job I did a few years ago, just ran a small beading either side and painted it which also protects from damaging the wallpaper on the corner, then papered up to it.
I wouldn't if just painted, give it a coat of Everbuild 406 Stabilishing solution first, but I think OP is making hard work wanting to line it. But, then I'm not a decorator, you would find it easy to do.
The Birds Beak. Haven’t papered one in years. If lining you have no choice but to wrap around, overlap and splice.
Had a customer once who wanted a patterned wallpaper over one a few years ago, did exactly as you have mentioned, they were very pleased with the finished job but it lead me to think there must be an easier way!
Really appreciate the replies everyone. Not really in a position to do any plastering work to square of but I am intrigued to know more about wrap around, overlap and splicing? Sorry to be ignorant but could you elaborate? Thanks again
