Hi, moved into a house not long ago.

The whole house is rendered with colour through render.

Not only is it patchy but when wet can notice eggshelling with loads of fine cracks.

So I will be painting it eventually, I'm presuming normal paint won't prevent the egg shelling effect when wet?

So what's the best way to get a good finish?

    Thanks in advance

You need to research PLIOLITE masonry paint.

    Hi, thanks I just did.

Doesn't sound at all what I need, said mainly used for commercial painting.

I just need something which will cover the hairline cracks
