Constantly losing a small amount of pressure on my combi boiler over course of a few days due to the fernox Tf1 filter underneath it leaking ever so slightly are these poor design or has anyone on here got some pointers to seal it more completely? Thanks
The lid leaks. The iso valves leak. Then washers between the filter and iso valves leak. The actual body of the filter leaks.
It's that poor i think im just gonna leave it alone permanently, hopefully it will seal over time and tbh it only gathered very slight amount of sludge last time I cleaned magnet in it over course of 6 months system water is very clean anyway wish I never bothered with it.
Mike it's going off topic but we spoke about the F64 problem I was having on my vaillant combi boiler, after fitting the new pcb is it a case of just power the boiler back on and carry on or is there any checks needed (combustion) fan gas valve etc thanks?
It’s simply just changing the pcb. Nothing else needs done. just changing the pcb won’t affect anything else.
I'm just gonna let dirty water seal it over time and leave it well alone it's not bad but obviously any little let by boiler pressure goes down I'm sick of it. And to be honest magnet collected very little sludge in course of around six months thanks mate
