Hi all, I'm looking for a 2nd fix nail gun and finally get rid of my compressor and airgun. I really want to get a gasless one I don't mind if it's heavy just need recommendations to which 2nd fix nailguns you all use? Will mostly be for skirtings, MDF framings etc. I was thinking about this Ryobi: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ryobi-AirStrike-Nailer-Body-Only/dp/B00GGE8MD6 What do you all think?
bought a hardly used older passlode for £170. Genuine seller. Aftermarket nails and gas pretty cheap.
Gas vs batteries. Depends on the outlay and how often you use it. A bit like a solar system, as to whether it pays for itself in the long run.
I will be using it everyday for atleast 2 hours, To be honest, anything is going to be better than humping around my bloody compressor!
I have had the dewalt dc618 for probably 10 years and it never misses a beat, its been pretty much maintenance free in that time. So if the new one is anything like the old model I would go for that. Also go angled. https://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-d...hless-second-fix-cordless-nail-gun-bare/3842j
Would this be fine for architraves, dado rails ect? i only ask because its 16g and i've only ever used 18g before
