I am wondering the position of the earth bonding clamps is it before the isolation valve on the gas and water or is it after thanks
Between the gas meter outlet and the first tee or branch and within 600mm of the meter. For the water, if the pipework is metallic, directly above the incoming stop valve, if a water meter is fitted you must also bond across that. Do not fit a bonding clamp to a lead pipe or any other pipe that may be crushed as the clamp is tightened.
The regs only say 600mm where practical, its not set in stone. You wouldn't rip a brand new bathroom to pieces just to bond a water pipe if you could do it in the airing cupboard next to it 700mm away.
The earth clip goes on the consumer side of the valve, not the supply side, and why would you try to strap an earth clip on a plastic pipe.
