Apologies for the awful sketch, been a while. Was the best way to explain layout, I was planning to start my first row on the right run towards the stairs... am I incorrectly concerned that the 0.8m length is too short to have at the top of the stairs, and i should lay it a different way? If i run the flooring at 90 degrees to the stairs i'm concerned the longer length of the landing won't look right. Thanks
It will look right. In my opinion it will look "cack" if you lay it across the landing. Not only will it look cack but it will make a small space look even smaller.
Cheers, was just concerned 3 or 4 rows of 0.8m lengths side by side would look like piano keys, but also read to avoid 'H' layouts - I don't have much to work with being only 0.8m.
In small spaces always use the longest length to make a space "look" bigger. Go with that and you is good to go for anything
