Typical scrap prices can be checked here: https://www.letsrecycle.com/prices/metals/non-ferrous-metal-prices/non-ferrous-metal-prices-2020/ It will all depend on the current per ton(ne) price (obviously) and how much weight you have (ditto). Sorry if that's teaching granny.
Hi when you sell scrap metal, you must declare it when doing your accounts, If you don’t declare that you sell scrap, that’s fine , if you don’t sell scrap. however, if you get found out, you will get a tax bill, and it will be the inland revenues estimate of profit, If you don’t agree to their estimate, (say £2000.00) it’s up to you to prove otherwise.? be careful regards Peter
We are all under the same law of the land eh! Some get a free ride, and the rest pay ! good luck in life Peter
