    Hello,

I’m looking to fill in a sunken pathway that is 700mom wide and 200mom deep, the raised surrounding area has cotswold (gold) stone and I want to raise the path and blend in/level it with the surrounding area.

I’m curious to know how and what to fill in the path with before I top it with the gold stone (MOT1, rubble, plastic membrane etc)

    any advice would be great.

    thanks.

Is it ok to use the MOT material and then the finished stone straight on top, I’ve seen a couple of posts to “wet it” as it goes down before compacting.

Yes. If the type 1 is dry then a bit of water will help it compact.
