Hey Everyone, I was reading the install guide and it tells me this: The shower tray (lowest waste outlet) must be a minimum of 180 mm above the base of the macerator, to ensure necessary drainage and must not contain a trap. No Trap? how the hell do I get the shower waste plumbed in without a trap? I have bought a slimline shower trap from Screwfix
Fit a threaded to solvent adapter to the waste: https://mcalpineplumbing.com/plasti...ry-fittings-bsp-couplings/s25c-cap-and-lining then add a 90 degree bend and pipe as required. Or use https://mcalpineplumbing.com/plasti...90deg-bend-bsp-male-thread-x-bsp-coupling-nut
https://www.screwfix.com/p/flomasta...Lbice8E_gYoZuXjExexoC3d0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds This is the one I have
So looking at the slimline trap I have bought, if I just take out the rubber bit on the inside that acts as a non-return, it will just become a free flow, so essentially taking out the internal cup part?
Just read the install sheet, 180 is from the center of the waste outlet (trap) to the center of the inlet and with a 1:33 fall on the 40mm pipe to the unit.
