Hi I’m looking to use an infill drain cover to hide the drain in the patio. The current drain cover is on a 45 degree angle to the house and the drain shaft is on an angle. Because the drain shaft is a rectangle brick shaft (instead of circular) I can’t just adjust the angle of the new drain cover. Setting the infill drain cover on an angle creates a lot of extra cutting of slabs. Any suggestions or tips anyone??
You could try a bigger cover that would sit square, Other than that you could reconstruct the chamber square (with water co approval if public). Best bet is just to accept you have some trickier cutting to do. The chances are you would cut the whole perimeter of the chamber either way unless you were very lucky with your coursing.
Thank you, that’s pretty much what I’ve been thinking. Hoping to be able to get a larger one to sit on an angle and cover it. Otherwise lots of fiddly extra cutting.
