Went to Wickes earlier... A length of (fairly **** as usual!) CLS is now £5.50, up from £3.50 a couple of months ago! What on earth are we supposed to do about these insane prices?! I'm hearing that it's partly due to the USA building a lot and not exporting their produce, but surely that doesn't account for a lot of what we buy here? Is this another result of that huge waste of money HS2 sucking up all the resources?
All about supply and demand, always has been always will be, just accept it and things will turnaround eventually, p.s. petrols on the increase so fill up
Same here in France. I took delivery of 3 sheets of 18mm OSB the other day, and the noticed on the bill that I was charged €260 for them. I told them where to shove 'em!
