    Hi
I need to fit a oak cottage style door into an angled frame under the stairs.
How do I cut and shunt this?
Or do I need to take them to a joinery shop?
I've see you can buy them but they are hugely expensive and we need two maybe three.

Photos of the door and photo of where they need to go please?

This is the style im thinking of.
I have attached a photo of what I want to achieve.
Currently away from home so can't get a photo atm.

shoudnt be too hard to convert, but one problem is if there is enough of the stile left over after cutting the door to height/angle to make the new angled top rail.

Hit the nail on the head here I think... The angled head is obviously longer than a standard horizontal head and therefore the original head will be too short to use. You may need to buy another door to use as a donor and use the vertical members as heads.
As it is likely to be an oak veneer on a chipboard base you may also need to consider covering the inside of the door with 12mm ply and fixing the new made up door onto it to retain strength.

Yes, a donor door might be the only option.
