Seeing as you’ve told us you wear shorts more or less all through the year, slipping into a nice, silkie pair of stockings as you're getting ready in the morning would be…… a look…… for sure
I've no doubt that if someone is carrying out ultra fine work on a range of hardwoods, making furniture, fine cabinet work and such like, then there are various expensive and exotic specialist chisels that have been crafted from Japanese Suminagashi steel, hand forged by the light of a full moon by a grand master on a mountain top, and excellent I'm sure they are. However in the everyday world of construction you won't go far wrong with a set of 6 Irwin Marples bevel edge chisels with splinter proof plastic handles that you can hit with a claw hammer every day for 40 years. Buy him a nice leather chisel roll to carry them in and a diamond sharpening stone to sharpen them with and he'll be set for life and love you forever.

If it's not too late, this has just cropped up as a sale item, and would be a good buy; https://www.buybrandtools.com/acatalog/Bahco_424P_Wood_Chisel_Set.html Good luck, Cando
Classic SF forum shenanigans. Posts, loads of well-intentioned folks flood her with experience and real-world advice. OP never bothers coming back to read replies - just evaporates. Let’s hope he already divorced her.
chisels + paint can opener = blasphemy. ... (was just a bit of sarcasm, surprised you didn't get that)
Just completed a 4 month ban for being offensive.....so have been warned that I am walking on eggshells from now on! ...I'm a nervous wreck now
