    Hi

Could anyone tell me or send me a link to the best plywood to replace the old sagging chipboard flooring is please? Know it needs to be a minimum of 15mm for the width of our joists so was going for 18mm ply, but merchants and other ply sales places seem to be abit vague on what can and can't be used for flooring.

    Thanks
    Liam.

Why do you want to use ply?

18mm chipboard is a good idea. Any builders merchants, focus, B&Q are all stockists.

Because it's supposed to be stronger than chipboard.

22mm T&G chipboard made specifically for sub flooring, glued and screwed into the joists and glued to eachother. It will be rock solid, without any squeaks or creaks.
