OK so here is the final update and outcome. My tools could not be found. I involved DeWalt and they have replaced my tools with new ones! I have to hand it to DeWalt - their customer service team were slow - but they delivered and I have new tools in hand. I will continue to use and buy DeWalt...

I have receipts for everything... Tools themselves and that I dropped them off for repair. I also have all my communications in email so I'll let you know when I get my tools back!

Thanks for the input. Contacted DeWalt. They said choose a repair centre of their website. I went on their website. Selected the one closest too me. They did not tell me to go to that specific shop.

DeWalt tell you to contact an approved repairer and have the repairs done through them. So I contacted them and dropped my tools off for the free repair. In that respect it wasn't arranged via DeWalt... They were just the closest centre.

I've contacted DeWalt directly but am waiting to hear back from them. My tools are all registered online and I have the receipts. I went up there again and there are no notices on the wall or anything so... This is really frustrating and annoying!
