If they're glazed tiles, the tile bit is is only needed for getting through the glaze, then swap for a normal masonry bit.

I'd stick some screws through, in conjunction with the adhesive, say 1 per metre just to give it some structural support. Any grab adhesive will do. You never know if someone might try to hang a mirror off it, or what the kids might try!

Does anyone know of an online supplier of "stick on" ornamental mouldings - like these? http://www.richardburbidge.co.uk/main.asp?page=249 I've searched for ages but came up with nothing. There are a few large designs on ebay, but I need some smaller ones as well. Cheers.

I have dropped the legs on the kitchen units a bit in the past & cut through the silicon sealant. Ease the new worktop in & raise the legs. Worked for me!

Ha ha, I just did a madrid suite - grrrr! Pushed the cistern hard up against the wall & used some packing to keep it stable. I suppose some "no nails" would help here. No probs with float or valve though. Have you dealt with the chrome trap on the basin yet?

Basically it's a biscuit jointer blade. I would suggest getting a dedicated B/jointer to use it - much safer that way!
