Does anyone have any comments on this "relatively" new flat roof material that is supposed to last a "lifetime". It's the Grey stuff often used on high profile buildings like Bluewater and Heathrow. Is it really worth the double and a bit price over conventional 3 layer hot bitumen?

If you want timber a specific size then you need to instruct the woodyard to supply "finished size" ie 25mm. This would also cost a bit more as they are starting from larger stock.

How many of you, like me, have worked on your cars over the years and blown the dust out of the brakes. Asbestos was used in the brake linings. A lot of car mechanics could be in trouble over the next few years. I assume asbestos is no longer used for this. Anyone know for sure?
