What I have tended to do once the angled cuts are flat with the saw try to achieve a near feather edge, then glue them together making sure all excess glue is wiped from the joint, then when dry remove clamps and run more glue into the outside edge of the joint and run along the edge with piece...
My Winzer Wurth rep gave me a free box of piano hinge screws because he new that would sort the problem. Another way is to slightly bevel the edge of the door frame to give some clearance.
Check that either the screws are sat perfectly in the hinge countersinks or that they are the correct size. I quiet often have a similar problem and have now started using piano hinge screws which sit slightly down in the hinge countersink.

Have just reached up to lights and put a mains tester screwdriver on the metal work of the fitting and it glows! is this normal? Could the light fitting really have developed a fault?
PS; can u tell im not a sparky?

I have found some brilliant blum style hinges that are face mounted for wardrobe doors available from East Coast Fittings, Leicester. They also do all of the doors for kitchens and bedrooms, and nice and cheap. Will get the phone number for you if you need it.
