Hi Blokes, this is for imformation only & you sparks may have come across this problem before. I have been having problems with my broadband connection dropping out. After many conversations with BT in India (or wherever), I have sussed the problem. When I have switchd on my Xmas lights, I have had problems with my internet connection....The moral of this story....Don't run the power to your Xmas lights too close to the incoming phone line !!!!! Merry Xmas, Malkie.

Did the lights flicker in sync with your broadband

Induced voltage on a phone line can play havoc with broadband.
    Connection drops.
Had this problem on site with an office block.
Got BT to lay new ducts onto site in the end.
