Hi, I'm a kitchen and bathroom fitter who finds getting rid of old units/ceramics/santitaryware etc a real pain. Occasionally I also do bathrooms for Dolphin etc and use Hippobags but does anyone else find these often too small? What's the best way of getting shut of all the old stuff lying around on the yard? Would appreciate your comments.
full kitchen install? £180 (Hampshire/Berkshire). Hence a lot of my customers decide to take the rubbish to the dump themselves.
When taking out a kitchen these days, it's far easier to burn it on your backyard. When the council come round to complain about the toxic fumes/ smoke etc. Just tell them your recreating Mt Eyjafjallajokull for the benefit of your kids, as they can't go and see the real thing. ;-);-)
you can get rid of it yourself for about £20 on average, and maybe a couple of hours messing about. Hence i always do! On contract jobs i get £125 to remove the rubbish.
