Changing pcb's

    Has anybody any tips on changing pcb boards ? must DO's and DONT DO THIS methods

    handle like eggs, keep fingers on the edges as much as possible, make sure its the right board before you break the seal on the package, turn off at the switched spur before any leccy work,

    Like Tom says,also ask supplier to take back if misdiagnosed;)

    Don't forget to 'earth' yer sen on the copper pipework first before touching the PCB, also when fitting on to push fit plastic locating pins always use gentle pressure directly by the pin and not in the middle of the PCB.

    It is possible to crack or open a dry joint by rough flexing of the backing board it'self! ;)

    Yea pray and hope you got the diagnostic right and that the new board is not faulty.
    Now where did I put them paracetamol HEADACHES
