I want some advice on fixing fibrous plaster coving. The manufacturer (Hodkins & Jones) sell EvoStick Ceramic Tile Adhesive for use with their coving.
Is that the best adhesive for the job ? I have fixed normal plaster coving before and used normal coving adhesive, is the fibrous coving different that it needs ceramic tile adhesive ?
Any advice, based on experience with this type of coving, would be most welcome.

Thinking about it, some call it cornice, some call it coving, but I think Plasterers call it coving.

All depends upon the weight of the coving/cornice. Some of the heavier type also need mechanical fixings (ie plugged and screwed to the wall/ceiling).
My brother usually puts coving up with drywall adhesive.
