Absolutely shame that, Gazza was utterly brilliant when he was playing and such a flamboyant personality that you would always cheer for him, even if you hated him a bit on the inside. I hope that he can get his life together, such a waste of talent and just overall life.
And one other - mental illness. The poor cove was clearly not quite right from day one - he was basically a big kid and wanted to do big kid things. Such as shame that his talent and fame wasn't able to save him from himself.
Your right DA,and with fame comes bigger responsibilities and he couldn't deal with everyday life before the fame.
The poor bloke looks to be in a right state. There isn't an easy answer when you have mental problems, it can be so cruel and unforgiving.
It wasn't that long ago that documentary showed him going through re-hab, but it looks like the drink has got the better of him. Very sad.
you'll not keep Thrudgle down, he's had more comebacks than george foreman, I've heard they're making a Trudgle sausage griller, i hope its better than that Frank Bruno toaster, it could only do two rounds,,,
