Does anyone have one of these ? I've assembled mine, but the manual says fit a "safety guide plate" between the table top and the guide fence. But if it's fitted, a lug stick up preventing the wood being slid along the guide. If I fit it behind the guide it prevents adjustment..... Anyone have any ideas ? Thanks

Cheers Big all, but the manual says the safety guard goes in front of the main guard. From a photo I found this isn't the case. Doesn't seem very well thought out as it's very flexible when fitted as per the photo. Any idea of its purpose ?
i am assuming its to allow rebating but dont know as i dont have a picture to rebate i assume you pull the fence all the way across and leave just say 12mm off the cutter exposed so the main guard protects behind the fence and the other covers the blade in front ??
I think its there to prevent anything slipping into the spinning blades. Still seems flimsy though. Rebating doesn't seem possible without being called "knuckles" for the rest of my life.
