Should i fit an Essex or a Surrey flange - or one of the more obscure alternatives - for a horizontal hot water cylinder?

There is a decent head from the cold water supply, but still poor flow at the taps. I am thinking this might be because of air being drawn in, but was thinking of fitting a pump at the same time as a flange....

    Thoughts?

    Hi
Horizontal hot water cylinder is unusual, today,
It may be the feed pipe connection blocked with scale, or the hot distribution pipe scaled up.

Best to drain and check out what the problem is.

    Regards
    Peter

It has only just been fitted, so don't scale is the problem.....

    Flange options?!

Does the poor flow exist at all the taps (hot&cold) throughout your property ?

Are they new taps by any chance ?

What is the distance from the bottom of your cold water storage tank and the top of the horizontal cylinder ?

Which make of horizontal cylinder do you have ?

    Lots of ask's :(
